Divorce or separating from a long term partner is something that most of us go through at some point. It can be an incredibly painful life
stage and one where we often feel as if we are navigating it alone and fighting fires on multiple fronts and just trying to survive.

Group therapy can be an effective way of processing the loss,
shame, isolation and anger, that can arise as part of the divorce or
separation process.

The groups I offer, allow people going through this life stage a safe space to share their experiences and gain identification with
others who are struggling or have struggled. Members can speak and be open in a way that may be difficult with friends and
family. This can to help alleviate the sense of isolation and
provide group members with a sense of hope and psychological relief. It is an opportunity for members to connect with other people who
are struggling with similar issues and facilitate growth and healing
at a time in life where it may feel as if the walls have closed in.

Is this group for me?

This inclusive group is for anyone who is going through or has been through the divorce or separation process from a long term partner. The group will be a safe, non-judgemental space to explore the complex feelings and high emotions that are envoked as part of the stage of life.

In the group, people will be encouraged to share their own
experiences and to reflect on their own part in the break up. Members
will be asked to give feedback to others and to explore the
inter-personal dynamics alive in the group with the aim of helping one another to move forward.

Group 1:
Friday February 10th 2023 at 12pm

Group 2:
Tuesday February 14th at 7pm

Cost:
£50 per person for a weekly 75 minute session
(includes monthly one to one check in with Paul)

Members are asked to commit to weekly attendance. This is group therapy, not a drop in support group. The group is capped at 6
members to allow everyone time to share.

In addition to the weekly sessions, each member will have a one to one session with me every month.

I ask fees to be paid for in advance and for a one month notice period if you are planning to leave the group. When someone decides it’s time to leave, their spot will be offered to the next person on the waiting list.

If you are interested in joining,
please contact Paul here to arrange a consultation or ask any questions around the group.
